Miss. Chanel’s Beautiful Creations mentoring program has had a major Impact in my life. Without her program I probably wouldn’t be the Makayla I am today. They taught me how to love myself. They taught me that it was okay to let others love. They taught me that there are people in this world that won’t give up on me no matter how much of a hard time I give them. Before the program I had been turned down by so many people, so many people had given up on me and labeled me as a problem child. My first day of the program I came in with the mindset of “this isn’t going to last long” “there going to give up on me like everyone else”. Throughout the program I had bumps in the road, but they never gave up on me. Each mentor took the time to help me in many ways. By the end of the program, I had grown into a self-loving young woman. I finally understood how to love myself. I had finally stop shutting people that wanted to help me out. The most important thing that each mentor had taught me in their own way was That its okay to let others love me. I will forever be grateful for this program.
